| I'm getting really excited. Winter is almost here its starting to
seem like. Tomorrow the high is only abour 49 degrees, and low
50s on Friday. Although by Monday they're saying upper 60s again,
its the lows that count too. 33 degrees! I love
Winter. The snow, the cold, the biting winds, coming in to make a
cup of steaming hot chocolate, going sledding. Hiking is probably
the best during Winter too, especially the view from the bluff at home
overlooking the valley when its all covered in snow, no dirt, all just
pristine from that view. And in a couple of months of course,
Christmas! The best time of the year it is.

| Well, as of today, I can say I'm really on my way to becoming a
Personal Trainer. My friend Angela and I finally set up a time
when we can get together and get a good exercise program set up for
her. So this Saturday I'll be getting started. Its a small
first step, but its still a good first step, and besides that, her
roomate would like me to set up an exercise program for her too.
Small steps, but great for me since I get that all-important experience
in the real world, and great for them because I really do know what I'm
doing and being that I'm not actually certified yet, I'm doing it for
free...win win.

| Not much going on lately. Just school, work, same old same
old. My tadpole looks like his legs are gonna pop out shortly, so
thats kinda cool. I really wanna go to Oktoberfest this weekend,
but I wanna go to the Homecoming game too. The thing is that,
nobody I've asked is going to either one...Well, we'll see what
happens.

| This is pretty much just going to be a rant, so you're warned if you
dont like football. I feel like beating my head on the desk right
about now... Could they have
played any worse in the 2nd half? 1 touchdown, and a critical
fumble with a little more than 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter
against a great running team from Wisconsin. Doing that is
giving the game to Wisconsin. Granted, as I said, UW has a really
good running game, but still they didnt even look much like they were
trying to tackle, its fundamental that you wrap the guy up when
tackling, the Wolverines looked like they were trying to just push them
down. The U of M. defense can be really great even with a little
trouble against the run sometimes, but when they play and remember to
wrap up when tackling, then they will demolish any other team.
Right now...bowl game? Only if they can get it together and start
playing with solid fundamentals. I'm a Michigan fan through the thick
and thin, but jeez, even us diehards get frustrated when we see play
like that.

| I had an interesting weekend. Got home on Saturday, and found out
that my Michigan Wolverines kicked the tar out of Eastern Michigan 55-0
(ya so E. Mich. is unranked, the Wolverines played bad enough last week
that this is a good start to make up for it) but on Sunday the Vikings
got the tar beat out of them by the Bengals (embarrasing). Aparently
despite being rid of Randy Moss, and wanting to overhaul the offence to
a more run-based attack; Mike Tice has not even realized that means
they need to change the playbook...Well, once they get the offensive
line problems fixed and figure out who will start at running back, I
think they'll be a much much better team. There's hope for a
Vikings Superbowl yet. Now if we can just get an outdoor stadium
again we'll be in great shape.
